Wools of New Zealand

A 100% New Zealand grower owned company

Our New Zealand wool is a sustainable textile fibre which is completely renewable, biodegradable and responsibly grown by farmers who care.
We are working with nature to provide ethical products and encourage fair trade.
We are also supporting worthwhile charities through the sale of Wools of New Zealand and Laneve’s certified carpets and textiles.

The New Zealand Whale & Dolphin Trust and Heifer are both supported by our organisation as is the UK’s Woodland Trust.

In the United States & Canada we promote Heifer during our autumn and spring sales through our network of Premier Partner retailers. A donation is made by Wools of New Zealand so we can give sheep to families in need which then help to feed and clothe the community.

Laneve wool Fabrics by Camira directly contribute to saving the Hector’s Dolphin which is an endangered species that lives in New Zealand. Our sustainable farming practices ensure that the habitat of the Dolphins is protected and a generous donation is made to the New Zealand Whale and Dolphin trust to ensure that marine sanctuaries are protected and increased.

We have worked with Anglo Recycling in the UK to create Crumbwool sustainable carpet underlay made from recycled carpets and tyres. “We are supporting the Woodland Trust, the UK’s leading woodland charity, by donating 5p for every square meter of underlay sold.”

Wools of New Zealand are proud supporters of Carpet Recycling UK. We are working with industry to design smarter ways of doing business.
